Maple Stories - Japanese Maple Leaf Watercolour Workshop

  • 4 Mulberry Walk London, England, SE16 6BL United Kingdom (map)

Chá-Fé x Art Program

Join Goldenleaf Studio for a relaxing summer evening of watercolour painting at Chafe Café

Join us for Maple Stories, a botanical watercolour workshop inspired by the delicate forms and rich colours of Japanese maple leaves. As autumn settles in, the streets become scattered with leaves in shades of gold, amber and crimson. Each leaf carries its own pattern, colour and quiet story of the changing season.

In this guided session, we will explore the expressive possibilities of watercolour, learning how to capture the subtle transitions of colour, translucent layers and intricate details found in autumn foliage.

About the Artist

Fan Qiu is a London-based multidisciplinary artist blending painting, photography, and collage to explore the interplay between nature, architecture, and everyday beauty. A passionate educator, Fan creates workshops that demystify art for beginners and enthusiasts alike. Her patient, hands-on approach—honed through private mentoring and collaborations with independent brands—helps participants unlock their creativity in a relaxed, inspiring setting.
