THE GYM THAT GETS YOU IN IDOL SHAPE - BARRY'S BOOTCAMP

I heard about Barry’s Bootcamp when I lived in NYC, but to be honest never tried it cause thought it was something people do when they

LOVE TO BE TORTURED...

... Incline on 12.5 degrees with a running speed - 9 miles / hour or above on the treadmill. Yup. It feels like hell !

After thinking about it for a while , I started asking Google questions. The questions were pretty ordinary like:

ARE THEY GOING TO YELL AT ME? 

WILL I DIE? 

Google gave me no useful answer. The reviews I found were good, but they said it hurts. People were saying how they love the workout and especially the protein shakes.

Yummy. Super dupper yummy. 

So, one day I purchased a class.

My first day was pretty much like my first day at school. Nervous. Knees were shaking. And regretting everything. But it was before the actual workout.

When I walked in two smiley people greeted me. They knew in advance I was a newbie, which was nice. They told me where lockers were, how I order a shake and what to do 5-10 mins before the class ‘cause I was new and had to be present for induction. 

In induction, I was told how to use the treadmill, when to switch (the workout consists of rounds on the threadmill or lifting wights).

So the class started...Lucky me I had been running before but not that hard. Still, it helped a bit. I started running on a beginner speed.  It was hard. Really hard.

It felt really good after. I felt so proud of myself. Came home and fell asleep. 

When booking a class you can choose where to start on a treadmill or the floor (lifting weights). Also, you can choose double floor - no treadmill. I always try to start on a treadmill. There are rounds, sometimes more than 2-3 but you spend the time equally on a treadmill and the floor. Personally, I do not like double floor, but when you feel like taking a break in your relationship with your treadmill double floor is exactly what you need. 

All classes are hard, but you get the result fast enough. Keep in mind ...

YOU BURN ABOUT 1000 CALORIES

...wich is pretty motivational. Especially, when you are sprinting and looking into your eyes telling yourself you can do it (there are mirrors everywhere), or thinking about that

 

IDOL BODY YOU GONNA GET SOON !!

 

Yes, you will feel soar after, but the protein shake can solve the problem.

THOSE PROTEIN SHAKES...

... I am telling you! They are the yummyies shakes on earth, not to mention that protein will inhibit your body’s absorption of the carbs, while just the right amount will help produce muscle-building amino acids.

 

BEFORE MY FIRST CLASS ENDED, I THOUHT I WOULDNT BE BACK.

 

But, now I purchase a 10 class package every time I run out of it. Beach body ready? Naah...
