Goodai Global, the Korean beauty group behind Beauty of Joseon, said on Thursday that it will launch a cosmetics brand with G-Dragon's fashion label PEACEMINUSONE in the first half of 2027. The company reported consolidated revenue of about ₩1.47tn for 2025 against ₩373bn a year earlier, with operating profit of ₩273.4bn, according to its audit report filed to Korea's financial supervisory system.
Counting its subsidiaries on a full-year basis rather than from their acquisition dates, the group's combined revenue comes to roughly ₩1.75tn. The business daily thebell described that as the largest of any independent K-beauty brand company, listed or unlisted.
Goodai Global owns Beauty of Joseon, SKIN1004 and TIRTIR, turns over ₩1.47tn and is heading for a listing. PEACEMINUSONE BEAUTY arrives in 2027 in Korea, then America, and then Japan.
That scale was assembled by purchase. Goodai Global began with Beauty of Joseon in 2019 and has since bought TIRTIR, Craver Corporation, Lacka Cosmetics, Skinfood and Seorin Company, building a portfolio in which no single brand dominates.
SKIN1004 accounted for 34.2% of brand revenue last year, ahead of Beauty of Joseon on 28.1%, TIRTIR on 18.8% and Round Lab on 14%. Each turned over more than ₩200bn.
The two companies said they will develop the brand concept and the products jointly from the planning stage, and that the arrangement is intended as a long-term brand rather than a single collaboration. Korea comes first, followed by the United States and Japan.
Cheon Ju-hyuk, Goodai Global's chief executive, said in a statement that the companies would show global consumers "the value of a new beauty brand" they had not experienced before.
The announcement arrives while the company is working through an initial public offering. It issued ₩800bn in convertible bonds during 2025 ahead of a planned listing, and the new brand is scheduled to launch after it.
PEACEMINUSONE has monetised steadily without this kind of partner. Founded by G-Dragon and the stylist Gee Eun in 2016, it has run collaborations with Nike, Disney, Jacob & Co and Frédéric Malle, released a wine-based highball through CU convenience stores, and is currently in McDonald's across 13 Asian markets.
Those were licensing arrangements around an existing product. A co-developed brand inside a group of this size is a different structure, and it places the label alongside companies that reached American shelves through Amazon and specialty retail rather than through the Korean conglomerates.
It is also an announcement without numbers. Neither company disclosed financial terms, equity split, product categories or manufacturing arrangements, and a 2027 launch leaves time for all of it to change.
Nothing in the stated sequence reaches Europe. Korea, the United States and Japan are the three markets named, and Britain is not among them.
The brand's Instagram account opened this week. It currently holds one image: its own name, in white, on a black background.
